There is no internal PM system, but you can go to the "Profile" link at the top and set your Privacy options to "Hide your email address but allow form email.", which will allow people to email you, through the forums, without exposing your email address.

I am writing this to notify you that there is someone posing as me in BG2. This person has been telling some recruits they are either kicked or promoted and this is a outright lie.
